Today we practiced Read to Self. We are working on building up our stamina. Ask me about the things I need to work on when I am practicing Read to Self. Hint (read quietly, stay in one spot, get started right away, and read the whole time.) Today we where able to read for 3 minutes.
We also had our first visit to the Learning Commons. Mrs. Azaim shared how we are allowed to take 2 books out at a time and can go to the learning commons all by ourselves. Ask me about the books I took out today. Just remember I need to return them after 2 weeks or get them renewed.

2) Art project supplies needed: If you still have not brought a rock in their is still time. We will be needing rocks for an art project that is planned this week. Please help your child find a fist sized rock that they can paint. Thank you for all of your support.
3) Opening school packages. Yesterday the opening school package went home. Please return it as soon as possible. Thank you so much to everyone who has returned theirs.
