Jan 31

Today we posted a math investigation on IRIS. Take some time to check it out and write back to your child. We where working very hard at organizing the different ways to make 10 to prove how many ways there are to make 10.

1) Buddy board game: For the month of February students are being asked to bring in their favourite board game to share and teach to their grade 3 buddy. This will be starting on February 1st and will be held every Thursday.

2) Valentines day: For Valentines day students will be participating in a kindness art project where students will have the opportunity to write kindness notes on a piece of art to their classmates. This activity is being done in lieu of handing out valentines to assist in reducing waste. Please do not send commercial valentines as we will not be passing them out. Thank you for your cooperation.

Up coming events:

1) One World Drumming: is starting next week from Jan 5th-9th.
2) Book Truck: for returning books only is Feb 7th.
3) Class Picture day: Feb 8th.

Perhaps you can make a goal with your child. You can also take a look at the comment Ms. MacDonald wrote about your inquiry poster.
